( What I do )

Six practice areas, each one drawn from documented work

  1. Designing products where an agent does the work and a person supervises it: interaction models for autonomous systems, human-in-the-loop review, and the AI tooling that produces the design itself.

    • Agentic & Natural Language Interface Design
    • AI Prototype Pipelines & Design System Automation
    • Custom AI Skill Development
    • Prompt & Context Engineering for Design
    • MCP Integrations
    • AI Tooling
    • Human-in-the-Loop AI Interface Design
  2. The visual craft underneath the system. Type, colour, iconography and the component libraries that hold a product together once it is larger than any one person can hold in their head.

    • Figma
    • Design Systems
    • Design Tokens
    • High-Fidelity Prototyping
    • Wireframing
    • Interaction Design
    • Motion Design & Animation Systems
    • Visual Design
  3. The full arc of a product surface, from research and journey mapping through information architecture, flows and prototypes, to the handoff that makes it real.

    • User Research & Validation
    • User Journey Mapping & Personas
    • Competitive & Market Analysis
    • Information Architecture
    • Content Strategy
    • Product Strategy
    • Marketplace & Two-Sided Platform Design
    • Immersive, VR & Spatial UX
  4. Designing in the material the product is actually made of. Reading and writing the front end, so a handoff is a conversation between two people who share a vocabulary.

    • Modern Frontend Stack
    • UI Component Frameworks
    • HTML / CSS
  5. Leading design inside a business rather than beside it: facilitating decisions with product and engineering leadership, mentoring designers, and owning outcomes end to end.

    • Design Team Leadership
    • CTO-Level Facilitation
    • End-to-End Product Ownership
    • Design-to-Engineering Handoff
    • AI Adoption Leadership
    • Client Discovery & Liaison
    • Distributed Team Collaboration
  6. Two decades inside operationally heavy domains. Logistics and transport management, field service, enterprise operations, and the regulated workflows underneath them.

    • Logistics / TMS / Supply Chain
    • Enterprise SaaS
    • Managed IT Services / Enterprise Operations
    • Field Service Management / Vertical SaaS
    • Process Mining & Operational Analytics
    • B2B Marketplace / PropTech
    • Loyalty & Rewards
    • Travel, OTA & Ticketing

Product Leader, B2B SaaS, Systems-Oriented, Complex User-Customer Ecosystems, WiseTech Global

I've had the pleasure of working directly with Muna for the past 5 years on our company's mobile application, from its original inception through two major UX redesigns. In that time, he's consistently proven himself to be one of the most talented UX designers I've worked with. What sets him apart is his rare combination of speed and creativity. He has an incredible ability to move quickly without ever sacrificing the quality or thoughtfulness of his designs. He also has a genuine gift for anticipating where UI trends are heading before they hit the mainstream, which has kept our app feeling fresh and ahead of the curve rather than playing catch-up. He's truly an artist when it comes to design. Every interface he creates feels cutting-edge, but never at the expense of usability. He has a deep understanding of how to balance beautiful, modern aesthetics with intuitive, user-friendly experiences, regardless of the industry he is in. Beyond his design talent, Muna is also just a fantastic person to work with. He's highly adaptable, takes feedback constructively, and uses it to make his work even stronger. He also takes the time to mentor and coach others on the team, sharing his expertise generously and helping raise the bar for everyone around him. Any team would be lucky to have Muna. He's a rare designer who can adapt and deliver quickly without sacrificing quality. I 100% recommend him for any team!

    UX Designer, WiseTech Global

I've had the pleasure of managing Muna since he joined our portfolio design team in January 2025. He came to us from Envase, an acquisition company, where he'd been the solo Lead Product Designer for years, successfully supporting and growing a large suite of transport products. Muna is a meticulous UI designer with a keen eye for detail and deep understanding of the domain who brings strategic thinking and a change mindset to the teams and products he supports. He has the capacity to spread himself across multiple products, domains and design systems while maintaining quality, influencing priority calls and shaping timelines in a way that ensures he can support projects in the best possible way. His ability to form collaborative and trusting relationships with peers really supported this balance. He's genuinely curious and committed to learning and growing. I've watched him deliberately develop a more mature UX design process over the last 18 months, grounded in real user understanding through thoughtful research, clearly articulated user goals and scenarios, and rigorous design thinking. He was also the first on our team to deeply integrate AI into his workflow, and has been willing to challenge our team's assumptions about how we approach these tools in both our design process and in the design solutions themselves. Most recently, he developed and iterated a fully automated, agent-driven logistics prototype that meaningfully advanced our team's thinking about transport in an AI future. What it comes down to is someone who genuinely cares about the work, the people he works with, and the product experiences he creates. If you're looking for a designer who combines strong UX/UI craft with advanced AI literacy, thoughtful problem-solving, and user empathy, I'd recommend Muna. I'd be happy to work with him again

    Head of Engineering, WiseTech Global

I worked with Muna for over six years. I was VP of Engineering and he was our Lead UX/UI Designer, and in that time we built a lot of products together. Web apps, mobile apps, all of it. Muna cares. That's the simplest way to put it. He took real pride in design and user experience, and it always showed in the work. He didn't just wait for specs to land on his desk. He'd go talk to customers/product mangers, dig into what they actually needed, and bring that back into the product. For a good stretch, he and I were on a call every single morning, and those conversations were some of the best I've had. He was always thinking a step ahead, asking what's next instead of settling for what already worked. He's also just a genuinely good person to have around. We never hesitated to put him in front of stakeholders, customers, or business leaders. He's professional and clearly passionate, but also the kind of person you can just pick up the phone and chat with. Bring Muna onto your team and you get loyalty, consistency, and someone who truly cares about doing things 'the proper way'. One more thing worth mentioning: he scales. At WiseTech he stepped into a much larger team, picked up the patterns they already had in place, helped reinvent existing products, and wasn't shy about going into a system and pointing out where it could be better.

Head of Product - Cargowise Landside, WiseTech Global

First and foremost, Muna is a great teammate. As the Head of the Product team working with Muna for 5+ years this attribute allowed him to work across our variety of products and our team of Product Managers. On top of that, Muna is truly an out of the box thinker and designer who is always looking to ensure the UI/UX that he designs are not only user focused, but ahead of the curve from a design standpoint. Muna is very passionate about what he does, a joy to work with and someone I highly recommend.

    Lead Experience Designer, WiseTech Global

Muna and I worked together as fellow Lead UX Designers at WiseTech Global. He joined our team through an acquisition, bringing a background in UI design and working solo. He quickly brought new energy to our team. What I appreciate most about Muna is his enthusiasm and openness to new ideas. He's a genuinely innovative thinker, unafraid to put forward big ideas and push the team's thinking in new directions. On top of his already strong UI background, he showed real hunger to grow into UX, and made the most of working in our team to actively seek out new methods, processes, and practices. That openness to learning, paired with a strong instinct for the business side of design, makes him a strong contributor to any project. In terms of AI-first design he's led the pack, adopting new tools, experimenting freely and sharing what he learns with others. I've learned so much from seeing his experiments and mindset in this regard. He's also just an open, genuine person to work with, and I'd welcome the chance to work with him again.

    Senior Product Manager, WiseTech Global

I have had the pleasure of working with Muna for more than five years, and I can confidently say he is one of the most thoughtful and talented UI/UX designers I have worked with. What sets Muna apart is his commitment to understanding the true goal behind every project. He doesn't simply create visually appealing designs, he takes the time to understand the end user's needs, the business objectives, and the problems that need to be solved. He goes above and beyond to ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and ensure the final experience is both intuitive and impactful. Beyond his technical and design abilities, Muna is an incredibly authentic and kind-hearted person. He approaches every interaction with professionalism and genuine care for the people he works with. His collaborative nature makes him a loved and trusted partner across teams, and you can always guarantee you will leave a call smiling with Muna. Any organization would be fortunate to have Muna on their team. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a UI/UX professional who combines exceptional design thinking with empathy, integrity, and focus on delivering outstanding user experiences.
